There is an attractive SAUNA in the house, which can be used by the castle's guests (for a fee) at any time, as well as a fireplace room/ library/ TV room. There is a bicycle room in the basement for your bicycles.
You can park your car comfortably in your own carport on the grounds.

Castle holiday on the Baltic Sea, only 5 km from Kühlungsborn
The beautiful beaches of Kühlungsborn, Rerik or Kägsdorf are approx. 5 - 7 km away and easily accessible even by bicycle. Various wellness and beauty facilities in Bastorf (2 km) and Kühlungsborn (5 km), the Bastorf lighthouse with a fantastic view of Kühlungsborn and the Baltic Sea, good shopping and strolling opportunities directly in Kühlungsborn West or East, an 18-hole golf course in Wittenbeck (10 km), the Baltic Sea resort of Rerik with its salt lagoon and steep coast, tennis courts and riding facilities in Kühlungsborn or various boat trips from the Kühlungsborn pier will certainly not let you get bored!
Kühlungsborn in particular has a 6 km long fine sandy beach, and the shallow Baltic Sea allows children to splash and romp around safely. The almost 4 km long beach promenade, Germany's longest, leads past dunes, thatched cafés and playgrounds and is just as inviting for long walks as the 133 hectare town forest directly behind the beach or the beautiful unspoilt nature of the "Kühlung", a landscape conservation area in the hinterland.
The Ostseeallee, a promenade, connects the two districts of Kühlungsborn West and East and leads from Baltic-Platz, Kühlungsborn's "largest balcony", to the 240 m long pier and the marina, which has become a lively new attraction with many small bars and cafés. Like a string of pearls, one old villa follows the next on Ostseeallee between the beach and the city forest. The magnificent Art Nouveau façades have been lovingly restored, the faded splendour polished up again, and new buildings successfully integrated into the cityscape: No high-rise buildings look down on Art Nouveau villas here!
Excursions in the immediate vicinity include Heiligendamm, the "White City by the Sea" (Germany's oldest seaside resort, founded in 1793 and "reopened" in 2003), Bad Doberan with its famous cathedral, or the seaside resort of Warnemünde - a stroll there along the "Old River" with its many small shops, restaurants and pubs as well as the many excursion boats is highly recommended (approx. 30 km)! And if you stay here longer, you should not miss out on a visit to the neighbouring Hanseatic cities of Rostock (approx. 35 km) or Wismar (approx. 40 km).

The cancellation costs for the tenant are 20 ei cancellation more than 30 days before departure, 80 ei less than 31 days before departure and 100 ei no-show or cancellation on the day of arrival.
It is advisable to take out travel cancellation insurance for any cancellations.
